GitHub Copilot Workspace was discontinued on May 30, 2025. Its issue-to-spec-to-plan workflow is no longer available.

Continue with Current Workflows

  • Use Lab 016 — Copilot Agent and Plan for repository-aware implementation.
  • Start work from a well-defined GitHub issue with acceptance criteria.
  • Review the generated plan before allowing file or terminal changes.
  • The roadmap replaces this page with Lab 089: Spec-driven development with Spec Kit.
