Lab 041: Custom GitHub Copilot Extension — Retired

This lab has been retired

GitHub Copilot Extensions implemented as GitHub Apps were discontinued on November 10, 2025. The planned exercise was never published, so there is no legacy setup to complete.

Use the Current Extension Paths

  • Use Lab 020 or Lab 021 to expose tools through MCP.
  • Use Lab 025 for a VS Code chat participant.
  • The roadmap replaces this page with Lab 093: Copilot SDK.

The URL remains available so bookmarks do not fail.
